Our kitchen is tiny and when the afternoon sun shines through the two windows, it heats up pretty fast. This has become a problem for cooking dinner (adding heat from the oven/stove) and while doing dishes late in the day. I love our new curtains! If you recall, we have a black & white theme going on with the tile and new buffet table, so we decided to have black & white toile curtains made, with black out fabric for extra cooling effect!

I found the cutest cabinet pulls at Anthropologie and the drawer pulls at Restoration Hardware.
